Gerald Shtull MBA, CPA, CA
President, Licensed Damage Insurance Broker, RIBO
Gerald Shtull is a prominent leader in credit insurance expertise. As president and founder of Canada’s largest brokerage firm specializing in credit insurance, he has been at the vanguard of North America’s adoption of credit insurance for enterprises.
Mr. Shtull earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in 1969, his MBA from York University in 1971, and he returned to McGill to achieve his designation in Chartered Accountancy in 1975. After twenty years of practical experience as controller and chief financial officer in several firms, focusing on the textile and entertainment industries, he decided to strike out on his own.
In 1994, Gerald Shtull & Associates was established. The company became foremost in the province of Quebec and soon achieved national prominence. Gerald’s vast insurance knowledge and unmatched industry expertise in manufacturing and importing is paramount in identifying the needs of and providing solutions to his clients.
GSA has been arranged as an extended family, incorporating the Shtull family and a valued network of employees and associates. Gerald has assembled a dynamic, discerning, and highly experienced team that he mentors and inspires continually.
Mixing business with pleasure, Gerald enjoys international travel in all its forms. A doting grandfather, he cherishes his family time.
Michael Shtull

With a BBA from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida, Michael began his career in sales with CNA Financial Corporation. After three years of excelling in Florida and Manhattan, Michael returned to Montreal and joined his father at Gerald Shtull & Associates in 2001.
With a focus on new business and customer development, Michael is solution-oriented, creatively tailoring policies to establish an ideal fit between product and company.
Michael is a golf enthusiast and the happy father of a growing family.
Jeffrey Shtull, CPA, CA
Vice-President Business Development, Licensed Damage Insurance Broker, RIBO
Jeffrey graduated from Concordia’s John Molson School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce and achieved his designation in Chartered Accountancy in 2005. After five years in the assurance division at Ernst & Young and three years as an insurance agent at Coface Canada, Jeffrey joined the family business in 2011.
A concrete knowledge base in the accounting and insurance spheres has shaped Jeffrey’s dedication to customer satisfaction. Maintaining the first-rate reputation of Gerald Shtull & Associates and advancing the best interest of his customers are his main objectives.
Aside from downhill skiing and travel, Jeffrey’s primary interest is spending time with his growing family.

Christine’s career began with several formative years in credit management. These building blocks served her well in her three years as a Customer Service Representative at Euler Hermes Canada. Christine brought her strong expertise and great management skills in 2002 that contributed to the growth of Gerald Shtull & Associates . Christine has been essential to the ongoing success of GSA and it’s ability to grow.
A self-proclaimed people person, Christine’s talents are based in her commitment to client relations and her ability to foster lasting, beneficial relationships and establish mutual trust.
Tiziana Pitino
Customer Service Representative, Licensed Damage Insurance Broker
Over 30 years of experience in the credit insurance industry. Before joining GSA 13 years ago, Tiziana held various positions at Euler, including Commercial UW and Director of Customer Service for Canada and the North East. Tiziana is entirely fluent, written and oral, in four languages (English, French, Italian & Spanish). Tiziana manages most of our international contracts and has extensive knowledge of policy and system parameters in parts of Europe and Latin America.
Cynthia Cerroni
Customer Service Representative, Licensed Damage Insurance Broker, RIBO
Cynthia has over 20 years of credit insurance experience. Before joining GSA in 2018, Cynthia was the National Broker Director for Coface in Canada. Cynthia started her career as a director of credit for various companies selling to the retail industry. Cynthia is fluent in three languages (English, French and Italian).
Jeremy Michaels
Office Manager
Jeremy is a recent hire for GSA starting in 2020. Before joining GSA, Jeremy worked for a national credit information and collection agency, where he gained valuable knowledge on risk. Jeremy is currently taking courses to be licenced in Quebec and is providing critical support to our customer service team. Jeremy is completely bilingual in French and English.
Sholom Polter
Business Development, Licensed Damage Insurance Broker, RIBO
Sholom has over 12 years of credit insurance experience. Before joining GSA at the beginning of 2022, Sholom worked as one of the leading agents with Coface Canada. Before his position as an agent with Coface, Sholom was the top-producing factoring specialist for Coface in North America for 4 years until Coface discontinued factoring operations in Canada.
Chris Evans
Business Development, RIBO
Chris has over 18 years of credit insurance experience. Chris joined GSA in January of 2022 after more than 18 years of managing large multinational and financial accounts with Export Development Canada (EDC). Chris started his banking and private equity career, working at Citi, D&D Securities and Versa Bank.

Over 9 years of experience in the credit insurance industry. Prior to working with GSA, he worked with a consulting firm providing financial assistance to small and medium sized business.
